Assembly of the first 5 MAZ- 205 automobiles.
1950 June
First dump-trucks MAZ-205 are sent abroad as a present to Polish people for restoration of Warsaw.
1950 September
Start of 25-ton dump-trucks MAZ-525 production.
1957 March
The first test run of the first prototype of the 40-ton MAZ-530 dump truck.
1958 October
Minsk Automobile Plant is granted the highest "Grand Prix" award of the World Industrial Exhibition in Brussels for the 40-ton dump-truck MAZ-530.
1958 November
Assembly of the first prototypes of MAZ-500 and MAZ-503.
1965 December
Assembly of the last truck of the first MAZ family - MAZ-205 dump truck. Complete switch to the MAZ-500 family.
1970 September
Start-up of serial production of the new improved MAZ-500A family on the assembly line.
1970 November
The Plant is awarded gold medal of Leipzig Exhibition for MAZ-516.
1974 December
Foundation of "AvtoMAZ" Production Association on the basis of Minsk Automobile Plant, Baranovichi, Osipovichi and Kaliningrad Automobile Units Plants and Minsk Plant for Springs Production.
1975 September
Foundation of "BelavtoMAZ" Production Association on the basis of Production Association "AvtoMAZ", Belarusian and Mogilev Automobile Plants.
1980 October
"BelavtoMAZ" is granted the "Golden Mercury" international prize.
1981 May
Assembly of the first MAZ-5432 fifth-wheel truck tractor of the new promising family of MAZ-6422 vehicles on the main assembly line.
1983 September
The plant is granted gold medal of Plovdiv Fair for MAZ-5432 9397 road train.
1987 January
Foreign-trade company "BelavtoMAZ" is founded.

MAZ-2000 "Perestrojka" road train of modular design made at Minsk Automobile Plant is presented at Great Paris Automobile Show.
1988 May
First three-axle MAZ vehicle with "MAN" engine is presented at an International Automobile Show in Hamburg.
1989 April
Output of the millionth MAZ vehicle.
1991 August
First MAZ-64226 left new main assembly line.
1992 June
Creation of the bus production. Output of the first MAZ-101 low-floor city bus.
1997 March
Output of the first MAZ-54421 truck tractor of new family that was totally up to all the European requirements set for heavy-load vehicles for international transportations.
1998 October
MAZ internet page was created.
1998 November
"SAKR-MAZ" assembly production of "MAZ" trucks is begun in Cairo, Egypt.
1999 March
First MAZ 152 intercity bus is assembled at MAZ bus branch.
1999 June
Production of MAZ-4370 middle tonnage vehicles began.

Two years running the crew of Minsk Automobile Plant piloting MAZ-6317 (6х6) at Truck-Trial European Championship became European Champions.

Minsk Automobile Plant is granted an international ISO 9001 quality system compliance certificate.

First two trolleybuses MAZ 103T appeared in Minsk streets.

At "Automobile Show - 2001" contest MAZ-107 bus took the first place in "Visitor's Prize" nomination.
2002 April
Production of MAZ-551605 prototype dump-truck with three-side unloading and YaMZ-238 DE2 engine.

MAZ-544003 truck tractor took the first place in "The best truck of МIМS-2002" nomination.
2003 May
MAZ-4370 is considered to be the best commercial truck of the year in Russia.
2003 August
MAZ-437141+837300 road truck took Grand-Prix in "The best truck of Motorshow-2003" nomination at the 6th international automobile show in Russia.

MAZ-256 bus of the second generation is produced.

MAZ 171 became the first airfield bus within CIS that МАЗ was up to the standards accepted for air transport.

MAZ produced first Belarusian vehicles of Euro-4 Standard.

MAZ produced the first Belarusian bus of Euro-4 Standard. That was "MAZ 203076" low-floor city bus of the second generation equipped with "Deutz 2013" engine.
