Production Republican Unitary Enterprise "Minsk Automobile Plant" - is one of the largest state enterprises of the Republic of Belarus for production of heavy-load vehicles as well as buses, trolley-buses, trailers and semi-trailers.

The factory is an independent economic entity having the right of legal body, it is a parent enterprise of the Production association "BelavtoMAZ", which as well incorporates RUP "BAAZ" (city of Baranovichi), RUP "OZAA" (city of Osipovichi), RUA "KZTSH" (city of Zhodino), RUP "Litmash" (city of Minsk), PRUP "DEMZ" (city of Dzerzhynsk), RUP "StrojMAZtrest" (city of Minsk).

Minsk Automobile Plant incorporates all kinds of existing productions characteristic for modern and large engineering plants among which you can find: foundry, forge, press, welding, machining process, thermal, painting, assembly, tooling productions.

A range of produced automobiles includes fifth-wheel truck tractors, drop-side, middle-ton low-frame automobiles, dump trucks, timber trucks, short log trucks, off-highway vehicles, chassis automobile to be completed with all kinds of special equipment and plants. Wheel arrangements of the above-enumerated vehicles are represented by the following variants: 4х2, 4х4, 6х4, 6х6. All in all MAZ factory produces more than 250 modifications of automobiles. As for mass production the factory has mastered 6 generations of heavy-load trucks. MAZ automobiles are the embodiment of the most modern and progressive design decisions, advanced domestic and foreign technologies that have allowed obtaining maximum possible cargo capacities at minimum values of vehicle laden masses; high average schedule speed, comfort and low labour-intensiveness of maintenance, fuel efficiency, flotation ability and reliability combined with low operating costs.
